478 cases pending against lawmakers, Bombay High Court asks to accelerate process

The bench of Chief Justice Shree Chandrashekhar and Justice NJ Jamadar was handed a document by Public Prosecutor Mankunwar Deshmukh, which showed that there were 478 pending cases against MPs and MLAs and that in at least 132 cases, the courts were yet to secure the presence of the accused.
